Release Notes:
There are several new features in V1.02 release. Please note them below:
1. Added the ability to bootload the firmware in the Total G hardware. There is a new firmware release of the Flight Control (FC) and Tail Rotor / Governor (TR). This release corrected some issues with manual setting of gains in the external receiver mode. You should upgrade to the new releases. Please follow the directions in the PDF document located elsewhere on this web page.
2. There are many new parameters that can now be set from the software. Most are located on the Programming->Background Settings page on the FC. There are also new parameters on the TR page as well.
3. The serial port selection has a narrowed search which will make auto selection of the serial port that much faster. In most cases, there will only be one selection.
4. The Decay/Trim Lock Mode message now switches correctly.
5. A “Check for Updates” has been added to the software. It runs when you first start the program and checks the web site for newer versions of the software. You may also check at any time by selecting File->Check for Updates in the menu. Under Options, you may choose to not automatically check at startup.
6. Menu items with arrow buttons can now use the Up/Down arrow keys to manipulate values. When the background turns gold, you should be able to use the keys. Remember that holding the key/button down will allow the values to change exponentially faster the longer you hold down the key/button. Please note that the new instruction manual WILL be incorporated into the Total G software. We at CJ Youngblood Enterprises felt it was important to get the new manual / firmware / and software out to you, our customers, so that you could enjoy the benefits of this new release. A new release will be coming shortly that will incorporate the new manual. Please refer to the PDF version until that time.
7. Fixes install problems with the Tail Rotor side of the firmware. CJ Youngblood Ent. is terribly sorry for the inconvenience. The error did not occur on every install, only a specific combination. If your unit is no longer functioning, please contact tech support for resolution of this issue.
8. Fixed problem with serial port not displaying on a small number of PCs.
